Resolution :
- Check the drivers in DM it should be Symantic drivers
- Check the device is gettting detected in DM or SCSI BIOS
- Run Tapeinst.exe -
c:\Prof Files\Symantec\Backupexe\Tapeinst.exe - (11d)
c:\Prof files\Backup exec\win nt\ tapeinst.exe -(10d)
- download latest drivers from symantec website
Support.veritas.com ---> backup exec for win server
Type "Device Drivers"
Select version & platform
select the drivers for appropriate revision
- Run Diognostic tools (Tape RX or XTalk)
Note - You can also use the Hot Swap option
