SETTING SCSI ID ON LTO AUTOLOADERS

SETTING SCSI ID ON LTO AUTOLOADERS :

To change the SCSI ID settings:
1 From the main menu, press the Previous or Next button until Configuration displays in the LCD.
2 Press Enter to select the Configuration menu.
3 Press the Previous or Next button until Change SCSI ID displays in the LCD
4 Press Enter to select the Change SCSI ID option.
5 Press the Previous or Next button until Loader displays in the LCD. To change the SCSI ID of the tape drive, press the Previous or Next button until Drive displays in the LCD.
6 Press Enter to select the Loader option.
7 Press the Previous or Next button until the desired SCSI ID displays.
8 Press the Enter button. Power Cycle for New SCSI ID displays on the LCD screen.
9 Turn off the autoloader. Wait a few seconds, and then turn the autoloader on again. The selected SCSI ID is now set.

MAIN LOGIN WOULD BE ADMIN WITH ADMIN AS PASSWORD,
WHEN YOU CLICK ON FTP CLIENT ON LEFT PANE USERNAME WOULD BE ROOT AND PASSWORD IS PASSWORD)

(save the two log files on to your desktop)

My Computer ---> Properties-----> Device Manager ----> View ----> Devices by Connection

Now Expand Sequentially :
1) ACPI Uniprocessor PC or ACPI Multiprocessor PC
2) Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
3) PCI Bus
4) Intel(R) XXXXX Ultra ATA Storage Controllers or Intel(R) XXXXX
5) Serial ATA Storage Controllers
6) Primary IDE Channel / Secondary IDE Channel

....If Govault is listed any 1 of the channel then :

Right-click QUANTUM GoVault---->Properties----->Note the indicated Location: value - Then close that window

Then - In the Device Manager window right click the IDE Channel listing under which QUANTUM GoVault is shown ---->Advanced Settings tab -----> To change the transfer mode, select DMA if available from the Transfer Mode list box
